PITTSBURGH, PA - It was a back-to-back type week for the Chatham women's soccer team (8-5-2, 5-3 PAC) as tey were defeated 6-0 by Grove City College (8-4-2, 7-0-1 PAC) this afternoon.
In what started as a normal first half, would turn into a firing squad against the Cougars this afternoon. The Wolverines would find the back of the net twice in the first half, adn then add another four goals to their total in the second half.
The Cougars offense would be led by senior
Halle Marsalis with two shots on goal, senior
Ainsley Smith with one shot on goal, and junior
Allyson Rynd with a shot on goal as well. Sophmore goalkeeper
Kyanni Escudero would be kept on her toes today as she made 10 saves for the Cougar back line.
The Cougars will be back in action at UPMC Graham Field this Wednesday, October 22nd, when they face off with the Geneva College Golden Torandos at 5 PM.
