Rochester, N.Y. - On Friday the women's hockey team traveled to Rochester, N.Y. to play a two game series at Nazareth. In the first game the Golden Flyers (10-5-1) controlled the Cougars (2-13-1). The final score was 7-0.

The Golden Flyers scored four goals in the first period, two in the second and one in the third period. The Cougars only managed five shots on goal in the entire game, one in the first, one in the second and three in the third period. The Golden Flyers put 44 shots on goal scoring on seven of them. Samantha Barrett made four blocks to lead the team.

The Cougars and Golden Flyers will play again on Saturday January 25th with a 1:30 puck drop in Rochester, N.Y.
