Chatham Women's Volleyball lost to the Franciscan Barons on Saturday by a score of 3 sets to 1(25-21, 25-22, 20-25, 25-20).
                 Mary Jean Cadman led Franciscan with 13 kills in the match. Sara Moore came through at the service line with 4 aces for the Barons (9-3). Sara Moore had a game high 37 digs for Franciscan.

Becca Gesner tied for the game high in kills with 13.
Sierra Ricci had a standout performance for Chatham, registering a career high 33 digs to go with 3 service aces.
Ava Plunkard recorded 23 assists and 2 blocks for the Cougars (3-8), who claimed the third set after trailing 2-0 but fell behind 9-1 in the fourth set and could not recover. Chatham committed 32 errors in the match to Franciscan's 22, which ultimately proved to be the difference.
                 The Cougars' next match will be on Tuesday, Oct. 1 against Penn State Altoona at the Athletic & Fitness Center at 7 p.m.
