PITTSBURGH PA - The Cougars start the weekend off strong with a win over Penn State Altoona.
Chatham came out of the gate swinging in today's match up, taking their first goal in the opening ten minutes.
Ava Krepp finds the back of the net in the 10' minute to give the Cougars a 1-0 lead early on.
Penn State Altoona's best chance of the game came in the form of a penalty kick that was saved by the Chatham goalkeeper,
Kyanni Escudero.
The game would continue in Chatham's favor, culminating in a late insurance goal from
Ainsley Smith in the 89' minute to bring the score 2-0 which is where things ended.
The Cougars will be back in action on Wednesday September 18 against Marietta at 7:00pm
