PITTSBURGH PA - The Cougars took on Penn State Behrend today but neither side was able to come out on top. 

The action started right out of the gate as the first shot of the game was taken by Rilley Nickles for Behrend in the second minute of the game. His shot missed high above the goal. 

Chatham would get their side ahead later in the 19' minute. Bennett Haas is awarded the goal, his first of the season, to put the Cougars in the lead 1-0. 

Both sides continued their attacks, with either team unable to cash in. The first half would end 1-0. 

As the second half got underway, Chatham looked for an insurance goal while Behrend looked for a way back in the game. That would come in the dwindling minutes of the half. 

In the 61' minute, Behrend ties the game from a goal scored by Owen Peterson, assisted by Lucas Pittman. That was Peterson's second goal of the year. 

The game would wrap up with a score of 1-1 with neither side being able to score the game winner. 

The Cougars will be back in action on Saturday September 21 against Pitt Greensburg at 1:00pm.
