PITTSBURGH PA - The Cougars faced off against Juniata tonight but were unable to acquire the result they were looking for.
The game started out as a neck and neck competition with both sides utilizing their offense, however Juniata struck first. Nathan Weick helped Juniata take the lead with his goal in the 21' minute.
Chatham would level the score only minutes later with
Luke Matzelle's goal in the 28' minute. The two teams would end the first half tied at 1-1.
As the second half got underway, Juniata would find the back of the net three more times including Shawn Tanaka (48'), Jayden Gaynor (55') and Jalen Holliday (89'). The game would end with the score 4-1 in Juniata's favor.
The Cougars will be back in action on Saturday September 14 against Penn State Behrend with kickoff set for 1:00pm.
