PITTSBURGH Pa - The Chatham Women's Soccer team takes down Pitt Bradford in the 2024 season opener, 4-0.
The Cougars came out of the game strong, scoring the first goal in the 10' minute with a combined effort by the Chatham attack.
After the goal Pitt Bradford made the first substitution of the game bringing on Hannah Clarke for Chloe Shaw. Shortly afterwards Chatham puts in another shot from
Ainsley Smith in the 19' minute making the game 2-0.
Another two substitutions were made, for Chatham and Pitt Bradford before the Cougar's offense struck gold again. This time the goal came from
Jorjanne Seaman to bring the Chatham lead to 3-0.
A fourth Chatham goal would come just before halftime in the 44' minute after a
Allison Rutledge shot finds the back of the net.
Lauren Hall collects the assist.
The game would remain 4-0 for the duration of the game with Pitt Bradford failing to get any offense going.
The Chatham's Women's Soccer team will be back in action on Sunday September 1 against Alfred State at 1:00pm.
