SANDUSKY, Ohio - Chatham Women's Volleyball was defeated in both games on their first day of competition in the 2024 season. The Cougars fell in straight sets to both Muskingum (25-14, 25-17, 25-13) and Case Western Reserve (25-16, 25-22, 25-12).

Muskingum's Mackenzie Krous led the way with 14 kills in Chatham's first match of the day. Katharine Clayton racked up 21 digs for the Muskies (1-0), who were impressive in their service game, committing just 3 errors while tallying 8 aces. Zoie Bateman led the Cougars in kills with 8. Defensively, Sierra Ricci came up with 9 digs for Chatham.

In the Cougars' second match, Kalli Wall was dominant on the attack for Case Western Reserve, registering a game-high 13 kills.
