LATROBE, Pa - Chatham Men's Lacrosse (9-8, 4-4) saw its season come to a close with a 12-6 road loss against the Saint Vincent Bearcats (8-8, 6-2) on Saturday at UPMC Field.
Freshman
Tanner Marsh netted a hat trick, while sophomore
Jacob Lubawy provided two assists. Sophomore

Luke Iovino each had a goal and an assist. Senior
Isaac Joshi added a goal of his own. Junior
Thomas Curtin added five caused turnovers.
At the end of a long first possession, the Cougars scored the game's first goal with Marsh finding the back of the net at 13:32. The Bearcats answered to tie the game at one just over a minute later. Saint Vincent then took the lead with a man-up goal and increased it to 3-1 at 9:58. Marsh scored his second of the quarter to cut it to one, but another quick response came from the Bearcats 1:06 later to make it 4-2.
Isaac Joshi scored for Chatham at 5:17 to once again pull within a goal, but Saint Vincent capped off the period with two goals to take a 6-3 advantage in the second quarter.
The Bearcats scored the first three goals of the second quarter to take a commanding 9-3 lead before Iovino broke through with a goal for the Cougars. It was short lived, however, as Saint Vincent netted their fourth of the period and 10th of the game just 47 seconds later. The Bearcats would score again in the final minute of the period to lead 11-4 at the halftime break.
Whitaker scored the lone goal of the third quarter at 7:16, then in the fourth quarter, each team netted a goal, with Marsh providing the score for the Cougars.
Saint Vincent dominated in shots 46-28. The Bearcats were 2-5 from extra-man opportunities, while the Cougars could not capitalize on three opportunities.
