CLERMONT, FL. - March 3, 2024 - Softball took on New England College Sunday afternoon and came out victorious by the score of 6-5.

In the game, the Cougars got the scoring started in the opening frame when Freshman Cloe Lopez doubled to left, scoring Martin and Peticca. Freshman Mia Peticca grounded out to shortstop in the sixth that scored Grad Kyley Fijalkowski making the score 3-1. The Pilgrims then scored two in the seventh, forcing extra innings. In the ninth inning, the Cougars broke the tie thanks to Junior Isabelle Griswold who singled to right field and brought in Lopez thanks to an error.
