BETHANY, W.Va. - Feb. 6, 2024 - Chatham defeated the Bethany Bison (0-7) in three sets. The Cougars allowed their second-lowest amount of points (31) on their way to their third win in eight matches.

Tim McCabe led all players with 14 points accrued by 13 kills, one assist and one service ace. Freshman

Coulter Chaffee (13), who together accounted for 27 of the Cougars' 30 assists. Chatham also served 10 aces, led by Shelestak's five.
Defensively, the Purple and Grey held Bethany to 31 points on .012 hitting, both being the second-lowest marks in those categories for a Cougars opponent. The men totaled 42 digs with multiple players making efforts. Shelestak led the way with 11, followed by freshman
Kyle Penn's eight. Freshmen
Luis Carrasquillo (5) and Moncello (5) had 10 combined digs, while Barrett recorded two denials in the match.
Chatham's next match will be Thursday as it hosts Mount Aloysius at 7 p.m.
