ROCHESTER, N.Y. - Feb. 17, 2024 - Men's Hockey was held scoreless against the Nazareth Golden Flyers (6-16-2, 5-12-2) at the Tim Horton's Iceplex. Chatham now has a 7-12-0 conference record and is in a four-way tie for seventh place in the United Collegiate Hockey Conference (UCHC) standings.

Nazareth earned a one-goal advantage early in the opening period. The Cougars managed only five shots in the first, with four coming after the Golden Flyers' score. 

In the second, the shots on goal favored Chatham 8-7, but all attempts were saved. Nazareth extended its lead to two midway through the period. 

The Cougars had a power play opportunity to cut into the lead in the final period, but the Gold Flyers did not allow a single shot during the two minutes. 

Chatham will look to keep its playoff hopes alive when it takes on Nazareth again on Saturday at 4:30 p.m.
