STEUBENVILLE, Ohio – Chatham Women's Volleyball secured their second comeback victory in as many games on Tuesday, defeating the Franciscan Barons 3-2 (24-26, 25-22, 25-22, 21-25, 15-13).

Zoie Bateman recorded a game high 17 kills and 6 blocks to lead the Cougars (6-8, 2-0 PAC) to a third consecutive win.
Becca Gesner filled up the stat sheet with 16 kills, 3 service aces and 13 digs, all career highs.
Ava Plunkard registered a career high 48 assists and had 2 service aces for Chatham, who avenged a home defeat to Franciscan in a non-conference matchup on Sept. 28. Â
Paige Watson had 3 blocks and recorded the game-winning kill for the Cougars, who have won their first two Presidents' Athletic Conference games for the third consecutive season. Defensively,
Sierra Ricci had 22 digs for Chatham, and
Alyssa Leskovac had 17 digs along with 9 kills.
                 Mary Jean Cadman recorded 12 kills for the Barons (9-6, 0-2). Sara Moore had a game high 27 digs for Franciscan.
                 The Cougars will travel to Carnegie Mellon for their final non-conference match of the regular season on Friday, Oct. 11 for a 7 p.m. showdown.
