PITTSBURGH, Pa - Chatham Women's Volleyball fell to Carnegie Mellon in straight sets on Friday night (25-17, 25-23, 25-14).
Laura Reichard recorded a game-high 12 kills for the Tartans (12-6), who used a .195 team hitting percentage to win their fifth straight match. Julianna McFarland had 10 kills for Carnegie Mellon, and Neha Tummala recorded 35 assists.
Becca Gesner recorded a team high 9 kills for the Cougars (6-9).
Zoie Bateman had 7 kills and 3 blocks for Chatham.
Ava Plunkard registered 20 assists, and
Alyssa Leskovac had 5 kills, 2 aces and 14 digs for the Cougars. Chatham had a team hitting percentage of .018 in the match.
The Cougars return home on Saturday for a PAC matchup against the Westminster Titans at 1 p.m.
