GROVE CITY, Pa. - Chatham Women's Volleyball was undeterred by a loss in the first set to Grove City on Saturday, storming back to win the match 3-1 (17-25, 26-24, 25-19, 25-23).

Becca Gesner had a career high 15 kills in the match for the Cougars (5-8, 1-0 PAC) including two at the end of a tied second set to even the match at 1 set apiece.
Ava Plunkard registered 34 assists and 3 blocks for Chatham, who was victorious in back-to-back games for the first time this season.
Alyssa Leskovac's 5 aces led the Cougars from the service line, and
Sierra Ricci's 30 digs paced Chatham defensively. The Cougars have now begun Presidents' Athletic Conference play with a victory in four consecutive seasons.
                 Grove City's Kendra Klusch blocked 6 Chatham attacks and Lily Lagaras blocked 5. Julia Fisher had 25 digs for the Wolverines (9-8, 0-1) who were picked to finish third in the PAC going into the 2024 season.
         The Cougars will look to improve to 2-0 in PAC play when they travel to Franciscan on Tuesday, Oct. 8 at 7 p.m.
