MEADVILLE, Pa. (Sept. 28, 2023) - The Cougars continued their win streak with a 3-1 victory over Allegheny (12-6, 0-0). Senior
Amelia Bogovich posted her highest point total of the year with 22.5 (16 kills, six service aces, and one block assist). Chatham moves to 8-4 on the year, which is fourth in the PAC.
The Purple and Gray combined offense and defense to put away the Gators. Offensively, Bogovich and fellow seniors
Jena Williams (14) and
Delaney O'Shea (9) combined for 39 of their team's 51 kills. Sophomore

Paige Watson (3) and senior
Jessica Taney (2) contributed the remaining 12 kills. The Cougars performed well on their serves, recording 11 on the night (2:1 ace/error). Bogovich accounted for over half of her team's aces with six. Leskovac (2) and seniors

Jessie Spoerndle (1) accounted for the five other service aces. Freshman
Ava Plunkard had a match-high 24 assists and her teammate, Spoerndle, set up 16 kills.
On defense, Chatham defended 77 attacks. Dominek (24), Leskovac (21) and Plunkard (14) led the match in digs. The Cougars blocked eight Gator attacks, with Taney (2 solos) and Watson (5 block assists) leading the way. This defense held the Gators to their fifth-lowest hitting mark (.135) of the year.
