BETHANY, W.Va. (Oct. 4, 2023) - Women's Volleyball earned their fifth consecutive win, first conference win, against Bethany (11-5, 0-1) behind 11 aces. This total marks the fourth consecutive game The Cougars have recorded double-digit aces. Chatham moves to 9-4, 1-0 on the year.

Amelia Bogovich (3) and freshman
Paige Watson (3) led the six Cougars who recorded a service ace in this matchup. Bogovich finished second in the match in points with 15.5 behind senior
Jena Williams' 16.5. Watson produced 10.5 points, which is the most of her young career. Freshman
Ava Plunkard (24) and senior
Jessie Spoerndle (10) combined for 34 of Chatham's 41 assists. Senior
Meghan Dominek supported the Chatham offense with seven assists.
The Purple and Gray's defense held Bethany to a .108 hitting percentage, which is seven percent worse than the Bison's average. Chatham tallied nine blocks on the evening behind Williams' two solo blocks. Senior
Jessica Taney chipped in defensively assisting on three blocks and sending back one of her own. Sophomore
Alyssa Leskovac (19) and Dominek (15) led the match for a combined 34 digs. Several other Cougars aided in defending Bison attacks with Bogovich and Plunkard digging up seven.
