NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - April 25, 2023 - Chatham Men's Lacrosse traveled to Westminster College this evening for a PAC matchup against the Titans. The host team would defend their own turf, taking the game by a score of 17-6.
Offensively, junior Isaac Joshi netted two goals for the Purple. First-year Jacob Lubawy led the team in points with three, coming from one goal and two assists.
First-years Trent Griffin and Alex Stanuikynas scored one goal apiece, joined by sophomore Ethan Rinker with a one-goal performance as well.
First-year Cody Rosati recorded his first collegiate point with his assist on Rinker's goal.
Senior Clark Styles went 12-26 at the X, collecting a game-high six ground balls. Rinker would lead in caused turnovers with three.
In net, first-year Brett Zaruba stopped 19 of 34 shots on goal and sophomore Zen Smith made one save on three shots.
The loss puts the Cougars at 3-3 in conference play and 6-9 overall. The Cougars are back in action on Friday, April 28th at Graham Field for a 7 PM matchup with Saint Vincent College.
