PITTSBURGH, Pa. - April 12, 2023 - Chatham Baseball lost 10-3 to the Saint Vincent Bearcats at West Field on Wednesday night. The Cougars are now 11-13 and 4-6 in conference play.
The Bearcats scored in each of the first four innings to take a 7-0 lead.
The Cougars got on the board in the fourth inning with three runs to cut the lead to 7-3. Sophomore first baseman
Quinn Burke doubled to score senior third baseman
Brandon Griener. Then, the junior outfielder doubled to bring in Burke. Vogel then came all the way around on an error.
Saint Vincent regained their seven run cushion with three runs in the top of the sixth.
Burke went 2-2 with an RBI and a run. Junior infielder
Jake Bredl was 2-5.

Tyler Cote, who started the game as the designated hitter, each pitched a scoreless inning of relief.
Baseball returns to action Saturday afternoon with a road doubleheader in Meadville against Allegheny.
