Box Score GRANTHAM, Pa. - March 4, 2023 - Chatham Men's Lacrosse rounded out their spring training this afternoon with a non-conference matchup at Messiah. The Cougars would fall to the Falcons 21-3.
The Cougars would not get on the board until late in the third quarter. First-year Matt Woodall scored his fourth goal of the season, with an assist to sophomore Ethan Rinker.
Rinker himself would score in the fourth, with classmate Paul Freyre assisting.
The Cougars' third and final goal was scored by first-year Alex Stanuikynas and assisted by classmate Trent Griffin.
First-year Jacob Lubawy led the team in ground balls with five. Rinker and sophomore Thomas Curtin trailed with four, while sophomore Liam Behnke and first-year Cody Rosati had three apiece.
In net, sophomore Zen Smith and first-year Brett Zaruba combined for nine saves.
The Cougars host McDaniel in their home opener on Wednesday, March 8th at 4 PM.
