AUBURNDALE, Fla. - March 4, 2023 - Chatham Baseball snapped its six-game losing streak Saturday morning with a 6-5 walk-off win against Albion College. The Cougars went 2-6 in Florida and are now 4-6 overall on the season.

Albion made it 3-2 in the fourth, but sophomore catcher
Tyler Cote continued to swing his hot bat, driving in Lehman and Cuello with a single in the seventh to increase the Chatham lead to 5-2. Cote leads the team with 11 RBI on the year.
The Briton mounted a fierce comeback in the eighth, tying the game at 5. However, it was Lehman who got the last laugh in the bottom of the ninth, notching a walk-off double that scored junior infielder
Benny Dottle.
Lehman was 3-5 with two doubles, two runs scored and the game-winning RBI. Cote was 1-2 with two RBI and drew two free passes. Junior pitcher
Dom Costellic got the start for Chatham, going 4.0 innings with four strikeouts, two hits allowed and two earned runs. Sophomore pitchers
Kole Mayle and
Gavin Phillips each threw two scoreless innings out of the pen, with only one hit allowed a piece. Mayle earned the win in relief.
Baseball returns to Pittsburgh on March 12 when they host a doubleheader against Oberlin College.
