PITTSBURGH, Pa. - March 22, 2023 - Chatham Men's Lacrosse hosted Baldwin Wallace this evening in their final non-conference matchup of the season. The Cougars would fall 14-3 to the Yellow Jackets to finish off the non-conference portion of their season 3-6.

The Cougars were shut down by the Yellow Jacket defense until the third quarter, in which first-year Trent Griffin found the back of the net.

Sophomores Paul Freyre and Ethan Rinker would both score in the fourth, with senior Logan Brubaker IV assisting on Freyre's goal.

In net, sophomore Zen Smith made seven saves before first-year Brett Zaruba entered in relief. Zaruba would make a career-high 15 saves.

Senior face-off specialist Clark Styles went 11-21 on the night and had a team-high five ground balls. First-year Ethan Joshi had a team-high three caused turnovers.

The Cougars kick off conference play on Saturday, April 1 at Thiel College. Their next home matchup is Wednesday, April 12 against Washington and Jefferson at 4 PM.
