PITTSBURGH, Pa. - March 11, 2023 - Chatham Men's Lacrosse suffered its third consecutive defeat Saturday afternoon at the hands of the Adrian College Bulldogs. The 14-6 loss puts the Cougars at 2-4 on the season.
The Bulldogs got on the board three times in the opening period and once in the second before sophomore
Ethan Rinker opened the scoring for the Cougars. The Adrian offense kept rolling with two more markers to take a 6-1 lead, which was cut to 6-2 by first-year
Trent Griffin. Freshman attacker
Alex Stanuikynas netted two goals in the second half for the Cougars, but the Bulldogs scored thrice in each of the final two quarters to keep full control of the contest.
Stanuikynas' two goals were his sixth and seventh tallies of the season. Rinker leads Chatham with 11 goals on the season and has scored in every game thus far. He added an assist an two groundballs on the night. Freshman attacker
Thomas Whitaker had two points of his own with a goal and an assist. In net, goaltenders

Brett Zaruba each played a half, making nine saves a piece.
Shots on goal were 32-18 in favor of the Bulldogs. Ground balls were tied at 46 a piece and Adrian won the face-off battle 14-9.
Men's Lacrosse will hit the field again Wednesday in Frederick, Maryland as they take on the Hood College Blazers at 6 PM.
