PITTSBURGH, Pa. - February 17, 2023 - Chatham Men's Hockey hosted Nazareth tonight in their regular season finale before UCHC Playoffs beginning February 22.
After a scoreless first period, Nazareth would come out hot and score twice in the second, and then score twice again in the third, one of which was on an empty net.
Chatham would score on a six-on-five with under three minutes to play, thanks to junior Jackson Koblick. He was assisted by Heath Drye and Caden Smith.
In goal, senior Ricardo Gonzalez made 43 saves with three goals against. Junior Chris Dusek helped with a team-high two blocks.
Defenseman Matt Doyle had a team-high five shots on goal. In the circle, first-year Bekk McClaine won 11 draws. Sophomore Heath Drye finished +1.
The Cougars are back in action tomorrow night at 7 PM at the Hunt Armory in their final game of the regular season against the Golden Flyers.
