PITTSBURGH, Pa. (Nov. 11, 2023) - The number one-seeded Cougars lost in four sets to the number two-seeded Bethany Bison (22-7, 9-1). After a historical season led by a talented senior class, Chatham was held to their third-lowest point output for the season.

Jena Williams led the way for the Cougar attack, tallying 14 kills on .262 hitting. Trailing Williams was senior
Amelia Bogovich, who registered seven kills on negative hitting (-.061). Freshman

Jessica Taney (3) combined for the 17 remaining kills. Overall, Chatham had their third worst-hitting night of the year at an average of .066.

Meghan Dominek (1) all scored aces in the match as well.
Defensively, the Cougars allowed Bethany to convert on .175 of their attacks, the second-highest mark of any Chatham opponent this year. The Purple and Gray defended 83 Bison attacks led by Dominek's 25 digs and Leskovac's 19. Taney tied a match-high four blocks, leading Chatham's five total.
An all-time season for any Chatham team came to a close. This year was the first season any Chatham team had hosted the Presidents' Athletic Conference Championship. Unless fifth years return, Women's Volleyball will lose nine seniors before next season. The Cougars ended the year with an overall record of 18-6, 9-1.
