WESTMINSTER, Md. - November 11, 2023 - Chatham Women's Basketball lost in the finals of the Rebecca Martin Memorial Tip-Off Classic to McDaniel (2-0) 67-48 on Saturday. The Cougars are now 1-1 to begin the season.

Aurielle Brunner added six points, three assists and two steals.
The Cougars offense struggled mightily to start the game as they went 2-14 (14.3%) from the field in the first quarter and 4-19 (21.1%) in the second. By the time Chatham's offense found its footing, the contest was out of reach in favor of the Green Terror.
The silver lining of the game for the Cougars was the turnover battle, which Chatham won handily 22-9. They scored 14 points of turnovers as a result. Rebounds were 52-32 in favor of McDaniel.

Ashlie Louden was named to the All-Tournament team. She averaged 12.5 points and 5.5 rebounds over the two games.
The Cougars hit the court again Wednesday when they take on Saint Vincent in Latrobe in a rematch of last year's PAC Championship game.
