GREENVILLE, Pa. (Oct. 20, 2023) - The Cougars swept PAC rival Thiel (2-19, 0-6) after their first loss in nine games against Westminster. Freshman Becca Gesner set career highs across the board in this match to help Chatham get their 13th win.

Junior Natalie Keough had a season-high 17 assists followed by freshman Ava Plunkard's 15 to combine for 32 of Chatham's 38 assists. The Cougars also served nine aces on the evening led by senior Meghan Dominek's four. Overall, the team had a much more efficient night hitting, finishing with a .268 attack percentage.

Defensively, the Purple and Gray held the Tomcats to an attacking percentage of .047, which is the Cougars' second-lowest for a conference matchup this year. Dominek (20) and sophomores Alyssa Leskovac (10) and Sierra Ricci (10) combined for 40 of Chatham's 67 digs. As a team, the Cougars blocked seven attacks. Seniors Jessica Taney and Amelia Bogovich tallied five of the seven, while Gesner tied a career-high two blocks.
