PITTSBURGH, Pa. - January 7, 2023 - Chatham Women's Basketball tallied a season-best 41 point allowed in a 61-41 win over the Thiel Tomcats Saturday afternoon. With the win, the Cougars are now 8-4 on the year and 5-3 in conference play.

Ashlie Louden led the way with 21 points on 7-14 shooting, including 6-9 shooting from three-point range. Louden eclipsed 20 points scoring for the first time as a Cougar. Sophomore guard

The Cougars took control of the game from the very beginning by starting off on an 11-0 run which ballooned to a 26-8 lead to end the first quarter. Chatham allowed just 15 points in the first half and held their opponent to under 50 points for the second game in a row.
The Cougars outrebounded the Tomcats 54-45 and went 10-37 (33.8%) from beyond the arc. Chatham outscored Thiel in points off turnovers 27-12.
Women's Basketball will be back in action Monday to start a seven-game road stretch as they visit Grove City.
