FREDONIA, NY - January 28, 2023 - Chatham Men's Hockey traveled to SUNY Fredonia tonight for game two of their series this weekend. After a 6-1 loss at home the night prior, the Cougars would bounce back for a 4-2 win on the road.

Fredonia scored early in the first, and it would be Caden Smith to even the score just 18 seconds into the second period. He was assisted by classmate Nick Cyprian.

The Blue Devils would answer back within the minute to regain the lead for most of the period thereafter. Sophomore Matt Doyle scored off of a set up from Cyprian and Smith on the power-play, knotting the game at two with a mere six seconds remaining.

The final 20 minutes saw two Cougars goals to secure the comeback win. Caden Smith came up big for his second of the night and the game-winner. Nick Cyprian and junior Aidan Girduckis were credited with the assists on the power-play goal. Bekk McClaine followed by scoring his third career goal, also his third of the week.
