PITTSBURGH, Pa. - January 13, 2023 - Chatham Women's Hockey hosted #15 Utica University tonight at the Hunt Armory. Utica would come away with a 4-0 victory to begin the weekend's series.

The Pioneers would net two goals in each of the first two periods, keeping the Chatham offense at bay. In goal, first-year Sam Brophy stopped 34 out of 38 shots, including 14 in the first and third periods.

In the circle, junior Cameron Carmody won 10 face-offs. Sophomore Rainey Jessup and juniors Lauren Carmody and Abi Fuzaylov each registered a team-high three shots on goal.

The Cougars are back in action again tomorrow night against the Pioneers as they look to even out the series.
