PITTSBURGH, Pa. - May 11, 2022 - The Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) has announced its All-Conference selections for the 2022 season. Chatham earned five total designations, with senior Adam Bleess earning the team's highest honor on the Second Team.
Bleess became the first Cougar in program history to reach the 100-goal mile mark this season after surpassing 100 career points in his 2021 campaign. This season, he led the team in goals and points with 29 and 38 respectively, adding nine assists, 16 ground balls, and two caused turnovers.
Chatham's Honorable Mentions included first-years Rei O'Brien and Ethan Rinker, sophomore Logan Blankenship, and graduate student Teddy McClain.
O'Brien played in all 17 games for the Cougars, racking up a team-high 27 assists and added nine goals for 36 points total. He also added 31 ground balls.
Rinker also played in each game of his rookie campaign on attack, scoring 17 goals and adding nine assists for 26 points, while also collecting 44 ground balls.
Blankenship is a returner to the All-PAC spotlight, having started all 17 fames on defense. He picked up 21 ground balls and caused 11 turnovers while preventing opponents' scoring opportunities.
McClain was also a force on defense for the Cougars this season, starting 14 games. He had 30 ground balls and 12 caused turnovers while also providing crucial team saves in front of the net.
The Cougars were one of just four teams to advance to the PAC Championship Tournament this season, having finished conference play at 4-3.
