Men's Lacrosse Draws Grove City in PAC Championship Semifinal

GREENVILLE, Pa. (pacathletics.org)--Grove City College has earned the top seed in this year's Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Men's Lacrosse Championship Tournament.

Grove City (13-4) secured the top seed in the four-team championship tournament after going 7-0 in league play during the regular season. The Wolverines were listed at No. 7 in Region IV in the latest NCAA Division III regional rankings. 

Grove City has won back-to-back PAC titles (2019, 2021).  

In Wednesday's semifinal round, No. 2 Saint Vincent College (12-1, 6-1 PAC) will host No. 3 Westminster College (10-4, 5-2 PAC) at 5 p.m. at UPMC Field in Latrobe. Top-seeded Grove City will host No. 4 Chatham University (6-10, 4-3 PAC) at 7 p.m. at Robert E. Thorn Field in Grove City.

Saturday's title game will be hosted by the highest-remaining seed following Wednesday's semifinal games. Information regarding this year's championship game will be announced after the completion of the semifinal round.

The winner of the PAC Championship Tournament will receive the conference's automatic-qualifying bid to the Division III Championship. Twenty-seven conferences have been granted automatic qualification (Pool A) for this year's championship. The 38-team field for this year's Division III Championship is scheduled to be announced Sunday, May 8. First round games are scheduled for Wednesday, May 11.
