PITTSBURGH, Pa. - March 10, 2022 - Chatham Women's Lacrosse hosted Mount Aloysius College in a non-conference matchup tonight at Graham Field. Despite a quick two goals from the Mounties, the Cougars rallied back to a dominant win, highlighted by senior Brielle Rapsas' ten-point outing.

Rapsas would score the first and last goals of the first quarter for the Cougars with supplemental goals from first-year Samantha Beall-Dennell and junior Phallon Kilduff, where Rapsas would also pick up an assist.

The Cougars continued to dominate well into the second, with two goals apiece from graduate student Anna Prendergast and Rapsas, and one each from junior Bailey Donofrio and sophomore Stephanie Walter.

Prendergast would strike twice more in the third, as would Rapsas. She would also assist on both of Prendergast's goals as well as a midpoint goal from senior Rachel Borucki. Donofrio would score yet again in the third before notching her final goal of the game late in the fourth, followed by the last Chatham point of the night from Walter once again.

Rapsas' six goals and four assists led the Cougars in both categories, followed by Prendergast in goals with four and Donofrio with three. Beall-Dennell had a game-high eight ground balls and on defense, senior Kristin MacConnell caused a team-high three turnovers.

The Cougars' next matchup takes them to Chambersburg, PA for a non-conference matchup against Wilson on Saturday, March 12th at 1 PM.
