ASTON, Pa. - February 12, 2022 - Chatham Women's Hockey remained in Aston today for their second game against Neumann. With a 6-1 victory last night, the Cougars earned the series sweep today 4-1.
First-year
Ally Nolan was the first to strike, doing so early in the period with an assist from junior
Brooke Almond and senior
Ashley Marchant.
Nolan's goal was followed by one from classmate
Allison Corser-James to begin the second. Once again, Marchant was credited with an assist, as was Nolan. Despite a goal from Neumann soon after, that would be their only offensive accomplishment of the game.
Nolan would score both of the third period goals for the visitors, adding assists from senior
Fiona Danahy, Marchant, Corser-James, and Almond.
In the cage, sophomore
Lilly Rogers would make 18 stops. On the draw,
Cameron Carmody won a game-high 17 face-offs.
The Cougars return home next weekend for a non-conference series against Anna Maria.
