PITTSBURGH, Pa. - December 3, 2022 - Chatham Women's Basketball defeated visiting Bethany 92-48 Saturday afternoon at the AFC. This marks the Cougars' third win of the season by 37 or more points. With the win, Chatham is now 5-2 on the year and 3-1 in conference play.

Aurielle Brunner led the Cougars with 16 points, adding five steals and four assists. Sophomore guard
Ashlie Louden was one rebound away from a double-double, posting 15 points and nine boards. First-year guard
Katie Schaible scored all 15 of her points on triples, going 5-11 from beyond the arc. Sophomore guard
Emily Durkee led the team in assists with six.
Domination came from the get-go for the Cougars, as they held the Bison to just three first-quarter points. Chatham went into the half with 39 points, while Bethany wouldn't reach that mark until 4:31 left in the fourth quarter.
Chatham won the turnover battle 24-13 and converted that into 22 points of turnovers compared to just eight for Bethany. The Cougars shot just under 50% (35-71) from the field for the game while holding the Bison to 30% shooting (15-50). Chatham made 17 three-pointers on the game at a 42.5% clip (17-40).
Women's basketball's next game is Wednesday evening at home against Saint Vincent.
