WOOSTER, Ohio - December 10, 2022 - Chatham Women's Basketball defeated Wooster 80-46 on the road Saturday afternoon. It was the Cougars' fifth win of 20+ points on the season and the fourth of 30+ points. Chatham is now 6-3 on the year and remains 3-2 in conference.

Alyssa Laukus led the Cougars with 14 points a piece. They also each pulled down seven rebounds. First-year guard
Katie Schaible led the team with 11 rebounds, marking the first double-digit rebound performance of her career.
The Cougars opened the game on a 17-2 run, which resulted in a 23-8 lead at the end of the first quarter. The second quarter was more of the same as Chatham outscored Wooster 21-14. In the fourth quarter, the Cougars held the Fighting Scots to just six points, which helped Chatham allow a season-low 46 total points.
Chatham grabbed 60 rebounds as a team, their second-most in a game this season. The Cougars won the turnover battle 22-14 and led the game for all but 23 seconds.
Women's Basketball will be back in action in the new year, facing off against Allegheny on the road on Jan. 3.
