ROCHESTER, NY - November 5, 2022 - Chatham Women's Hockey faced off against Nazareth again this afternoon in their regular-season series finale. The Golden Flyers would end up defeating the Cougars 4-1.

Nazareth would score early in the first, and the next goal of the game would not happen until the second period. This goal was scored by junior Allison Corser-James on the power-play, thanks to a set-up from classmate Ally Nolan.

The Golden Flyers were quick to break the tie, scoring three minutes later. They would score once more in the third before taking advantage of an empty net for their fourth goal.

Offensively, the Cougars had a very productive day, getting 24 shots on net. Corser-James and Nolan accounted for ten of these shots, while graduate student Ashley Marchant and senior Brooke Almond added three each. Sophomores Rainey Jesus and Tori Bevan notched an extra two shots apiece.

In goal, sophomore Lindsey Batz made 34 saves on 37 shots in her first start of the season, including 14 in the third.

The Cougars are on the road for one more weekend before their home-opening weekend, this time at Arcadia on Friday the 11th and Saturday the 12th.
