PITTSBURGH, Pa. - November 30, 2022 - Chatham Women's Basketball was handed its first conference loss of the 2022 campaign Wednesday evening, falling to W&J 60-50. The Cougars are now 4-2 on the year overall and 2-1 in PAC play.

Aurielle Brunner paced the Cougars with 16 points and three assists. She added two steals to increase her PAC-leading season total to 28. Sophomore guard
Zelimar Rodriguez was the other Cougar in double-digits, scoring 12 points on 3-5 shooting from three-point range. Sophomore guard
Emily Durkee led the team with seven rebounds.
The Cougars showed promise defensively in the first half, with 11 turnovers forced and six blocked shots, but were unable to capitalize on the other end as they went into the half with a 26-24 deficit. In the second half, the Cougar defense was unable to keep up as the Presidents shot 46.2% (12-26) from the floor in the final two quarters.
W&J dominated the board battle 46-25, including pulling down 14 offensive rebounds to Chatham's one. The Cougars did however win the turnover battle 20-15.
Women's Basketball will hit the court again Saturday at noon at the AFC against Bethany in the third game of a four-game home stretch.
