ADRIAN, MI - November 26, 2022 - Chatham Women's Hockey traveled to Adrian College this afternoon for a non conference matchup against the Bulldogs. The host team would defend their ice by a score of 6-1.

Adrian would find the back of the net late in the first, first in five on five play and then on the power-play. After the second goal, Chatham would respond with an even-strength score of their own, thanks to junior Ally Nolan, classmate Allison Corser-James, and sophomore Erin Carter.

The Bulldogs would go on to score once in the second and thrice in the third, totaling six goals and shutting down the Cougar offense.

In goal, junior Lilly Rogers had 51 shots on goal, stopping 45. To her aid, senior Dena Akers had a team-high three blocks.

In the offensive effort, Nolan and Corser-James both registered four shots on goal each. Graduate student Ashley Marchant trailed with three from the blue line. Nolan also led the Cougars in face-off wins with six, followed by classmates Cameron Carmody and Abi Fuzavloy with five apiece.

The Cougars now stand at 3-5-1 overall and 3-2-1 in conference. Their next pair of contests are scheduled for Friday and Saturday, December 2nd and 3rd, against Manhattanville at the Hunt Armory in Shadyside. Puck drop for both games is 7 PM.
