PITTSBURGH, Pa. - October 29, 2022 - Chatham Volleyball hosted Bethany College this afternoon in their final regular-season matchup of the 2022 season. Despite dropping a five-set match to the Bison just weeks ago, the Cougars would power through to a 3-0 (25-18, 25-23, 25-17) victory on home court.
The Cougars accrued 39 kills to Bethany's 28, 14 of which were supplied by first-year Alyssa Leskovac. Junior Amelia Bogovich and sophomore Jessica Taney would add another 13 and nine, respectively. Bogovich recorded a team-high three service aces as well.
Taney would also tally a team-high four blocks, with senior Shaelah Pepperman and junior Delaney O'Shea tacking on another two apiece. Pepperman was also essential to the offensive effort, providing 33 of 39 assists for the Cougars.
Junior libero Meghan Dominek had a game-high 20 digs, with Leskovac and classmate Sierra Ricci combining for 19 more.
The victory marks the Cougars' 13th of the season and third in a row. Chatham now stands at 6-4 in the PAC ahead of playoff seeding.
