PITTSBURGH, Pa. - October 25, 2022 - Chatham Women's Soccer shutout Saint Vincent 4-0 to end the regular season Tuesday evening at Graham Field. With the win, the Cougars ended the regular season 10-3-3 and 6-1-3 in conference.
The Cougars won the shots on goal battle 14-4 and dominated in corner kicks 13-1.
Senior forward
Maggie Toomey got the Cougars on the board early when she headed in her own rebound for her first goal of the season.
Under three minutes later, first year forward
Ainsley Smith scored her eight goal of the season off an assist from graduate forward
Morgan Anderson.
Anderson then joined the party with a goal of her own, her 17th of the season.
Smith put the icing on the cake in the 58th minute with her second marker of the match.
In net, sophomore goalkeeper
Hannah Ehrlich made three saves and sophomore goalie
Katie Krecek made one as the two combined for the shutout.
Women's Soccer will return to action when they host a PAC Quarterfinal Matchup Saturday afternoon.
