BETHANY, W.V. - April 24, 2021 - Chatham Women's Soccer traveled to Bethany College this afternoon for their final game of the 2020-21 regular season. The Cougars left West Virginia with a 2-0 win.
Junior Morgan Anderson was an offensive weapon for the Cougars, scoring one goal in each half to give the Cougars both goals. She had primary assists on her goals by seniors Genevieve Zeswitz and Kylie Redcay respectively.
The Cougars tallied 17 shots, landing 14 on goal. Anderson led the charge with four shots, followed by Zeswitz and Emily Harvey with three apiece.
Chatham limited Bethany to a mere four shots, three on goal. Senior goalkeeper Ashley Bergman made two saves and sophomore Tyler Colburn made one in the combined shutout.
With the win, the Cougars finish the regular season with a 7-1-1 record and a three-game hot streak. The PAC playoff tournament is set to begin Wednesday, April 28th.
