PURCHASE, NY - December 4, 2021 - Women's Hockey concluded their series against Manhattanville this afternoon with a 4-1 loss.
The Cougars struck first on enemy ice, seeing a goal from sophomore Allison Corser-James that was assisted by classmates Abi Fuzaylov and Ally Nolan.
Unfortunately, that would be the extent of Chatham's quantitative offensive efforts, as the Valiants responded with a goal in each of the first and second periods and two in the third (one empty-netter).
Corser-James led the Cougar offensive with five shots on goal, supplemented by four more each from Kaylynn Savoy and Ally Nolan. In the circle, Nolan and Cameron Carmody each won a game-high eight face-offs.
In net, Senior Katy Reed made 23 saves.
With the pair of losses, the Cougars now stand at 5-6 overall, 4-4 in conference. Chatham picks up again next semester with a home series against Wilkes on January 7th and 8th.
