Grove City brought the offensive heat in set two, resulting in a back-and-forth battle between the squads until the Wolverines put on the finishing touches for a 25-22 final. Cougar kills were supplied by first-year Kaley Davis, senior Emily Richie, graduate Macy King, and Ritko.
The Wolverines took advantage of their momentum heading into the third set, pulling ahead early and maintaining the lead. Amelia Bogovich and Rylee Ritko would contribute considerably, tallying 10 and seven kills respectively. Bogovich would also lead the team in service aces with six.
