GROVE CITY, Pa. – October 16, 2021 – After a fierce 90 minutes of action, the Chatham and Grove City women's soccer teams needed overtime to decide a winner. Unfortunately, the Cougars fell to the Wolverines 1-0, dropping Chatham's record to 7-4-1 overall and 5-1 in PAC play.
The overtime period saw the Wolverines get off a pair of shots, one that went wide and another that went in the back of the net. This came despite a valiant defensive effort by Chatham.
The Cougars were outshot 17-11 including 12-5 on goal. Junior goalkeeper
Tyler Colburn stopped 11 shots, the most action she has seen since conference play began. Shooting a pair of shots on goal were juniors
Emily Harvey and
Greta Mort. The other shot on goal was by sophomore
Malia Hinton.

Paxton Steffy played all 98 minutes in the field, while first years
Lauren Hall and
Bianca Brumsted both provided quality defensive minutes off the bench.
The Cougars look to rebound in the final home regular season game of the year against Westminster on Wednesday, October 20 at 4:30.
