BEAVER FALLS, Pa. - October 12, 2021 - Men's Soccer traveled to Geneva College this evening for a PAC matchup. Despite an 88-minute tie, the Cougars fell by one goal.
The game was a defensive battle through and through, with the Cougars and Golden Tornadoes registering just three shots on goal each.
The Cougars' scoring chances were provided by seniors Ken Richard and Franco Ibanez, as well as first-year Stephen Comeaux. Senior Ryan Tahbaz would send another four shots in Geneva's direction.
In goal, first-year Nathaniel Esch made two saves, holding off 12 total shooting attempts by Geneva.
Chatham accumulated nine fouls opposed to Geneva's three, continuing their aggressive style of play.
With the loss, the Cougars now stand at 6-5-1 overall, 3-2 in conference. Chatham has another opportunity for a conference win on Saturday, October 16th when they head to Grove City.
