Cougars Win First Game of Spring Training Against Emerson 4-2

ORLANDO, Florida - Mar. 1, 2020 – The Chatham University Baseball Team won first game of spring training against Emerson Sunday evening 4-2.

RECORDS: Chatham improves to 1-2. Emerson falls to 1-3.

WHAT'S NEXT: The Cougars face Wartburg on Monday, March 2nd to continue the second day of spring training in Florida. Game starts at 4:00 PM.

AT THE PLATE: Senior George Cedeno went 1-for-4 at the plate, adding two RBIs and one run for the Cougars.

First year Brandon Griener added one RBI and one hit. 

First year Owen Kravetz, junior Ryan Shawley and sophomore Caleb Lehman each tallied one run. 

ON THE MOUND: Senior Connor Paul secured the victory for the Cougars, giving up six hits and one run. Sophomore Erik Napolitano tallied the save.
