WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – Feb. 1, 2020 – The Chatham University Men's Hockey Team won their third contest of the season to King's on the road Saturday afternoon 3-2.
RECORDS: With the win, Chatham improves to 3-16-0 (2-10-0 UCHC) while King's falls to 2-16-1 (1-11-1 UCHC).

SCORING SUMMARY: The Cougars scored the first goal of the contest thirty-one seconds in thanks to
Eric Hildebrand, assisted by
Chris Lutz and
Noah Medalsy.
One minute and twenty-one seconds into the second period, King's answered tying the game 1-1.
Chatham scored a power-play goal thanks to
Matt Mood, assisted by
Cory King and
Chad Bell.
The Cougars and the Monarchs were both penalized in the second period for too many players on the ice.
Halfway through the third period, the Cougars scored their third goal thanks to
Michael Lamison, assisted by
Ben Oslick and
Andrew Warhoftig.
Less than a moment later, King's scored inching back into the contest 3-2.
Chatham pulled away with the 3-2 victory.
GOALTENDING: Karl Zodda secured the victory today for the Cougars. Zodda recorded 17 saves, including six in the first and second period.
SHOTS LEADER: Mood led the Chatham attack each with nine shots on net.
FACE-OFFS: King won a team best 16 faceoffs.
