GROVE CITY, Pa. - Jan. 4, 2020 - The Cougars (7-5, 2-1) made their way to Grove City (4-6, 2-1) to take on the Wolverines on Saturday, January 4th. Chatham was coming off a loss against University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg on Tuesday, December 31st.
The two teams battled it out the first few minutes of the game, finding themselves tied up 12-12 eight minutes into the first half. Minutes later, the Wolverines would put together a 7-0 run to go out ahead 19-12. The Cougars remained in the lead, clinging to a three-point advantage going into halftime making the score 30-27.
After a scoreless first two minutes in the second half,
AJ Meyers would extend Chatham's lead to 5 putting them ahead 32-27 after connecting on a fast break layup. Grove City would respond with an 8-3 run in the ensuing minutes, tying the score up 35-35. Grove City would regain the lead after a three by Nate Peters making it 47-43 with eight and a half minutes to play. After a layup by first year

Malik Potter. They never took their foot off the gas, as they would defeat Grove City 63-57 to move to 8-3 on the season and 3-1 in the conference.

Marcos Cintron led the way with 16 points, while Potter added 15, Sandherr added 14 and Sutton pitched in 11 of his own.
