ELMIRA, N.Y. - Jan 25, 2020 - The Chatham University women's hockey team succumbs to Elmira on the road Saturday afternoon in a UCHC matchup 7-0. 
 
RECORDS: The Cougars fall to 5-10-1 (1-6-1 UCHC) while Elmira improves to 12-2-2 (7-1-0 UCHC).
 
WHAT'S NEXT: Chatham faces William Smith in a conference matchup on the road Sunday, January 26th. Puck drop is set for 4 PM.

SCORING SUMMARY: Elmira scored the first goal of the contest leading Chatham 1-0.

Less than a minute later, Elmira scored again, leading 2-0 heading into the second period.

Elmira scored three goals in the second period, giving themselves a 5-0 lead over the Cougars into the final period of regulation.

The Soaring Eagles scored two more goals in the third period, securing the 7-0 victory over Chatham.

GOALTENDING: Katy Reed suffered the loss for the Cougars making 48 saves including 20 in the second period.

SHOTS LEADER: Six Cougars led the Chatham attack with one shot on goal.
